She portrays Bella in a way that is so close to the book, and it’s wonderful to see her and Pattinson playing lovers that are so, so, so in love. The fact that Bill Condon (director) gave the happy couple so much time to be just that, happy, makes you really believe in their love and it makes you understand why they can’t live without each other. Such an important part (or THE most important thing I should say) but something that the previous directors have failed in showing. This movie takes you from a beautiful wedding, complete with the most hilarious toasts (Jessica and Charlie) wonderful music, stunning dresses and declarations of love that will touch everyone’s hearts, to South America for a sexy, funny and exciting honeymoon where we see heartfelt smiles, kissing, cuddling and teasing along with the epic headboard breaking scene. It then settles back in Forks, where we get to witness the most terrifying pregnancy imaginable. The special effects team deserve an Oscar for the work they’ve done on making Stewart look like she’s slowly fading away. The moments leading up to the birth scene are actually scarier than the scene itself. It really is a horror film towards the end, and some scenes should maybe have been rated R. It ends in the perfect place, such a natural and obvious cut. I am so thankful that Breaking Dawn has been split into two parts, because I can’t imagine even once scene in this part that could have been skipped. Condon is a genius.

On the same path are also the British Empire (party led by the newly pointed privateer Captain hector Barbossa), The Spanish Kingdom and the infamous Black Beard with his daughter Angelica who was Jacks lover in the past. Geoffrey Rush excels as the retired pirate without actually loosing the pirate swagger and mannerisms. He steals every scene including the ones with Jack. Ian Mcshane on the other hand is not actually bad as Black Beard but as far as I know the story behind this person, Mcshane was not so terrifying at all. Penelope Cruz as Angelica was a perfect match for Jack Sparrow and she did an excellent job of portraying a heartbroken former lover of Jack.

But, people who were hoping to be free of a new romantic Will-Elizabeth tale were sadly disappointed. Again we have 2 characters who were flat on their performances and I did not care if they died or lived. So in conclusion Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Strangers Tide was a great picture. The action scenes were great, the story was also less complicated then the last two films and the lenght of the movie was also adequate. Not as good as the first film but better than the last two. Not a bad movie to start the summer season!

It was genuinely hilarious. At first I felt that it was going to be a disappointment because of a few negative reviews that some friends had heard, and because the opening scene wasn’t that great, but it seems to be the type of movie that gets funnier as it unfolds, as well as every time you see it. In the fashion of Franco and McBride’s previous movie, Pineapple Express, it was a funny action movie that winded up not being quite what I expected, but definitely worth my time and money. The strange thing about Alex Pettyfer is that he always comes off as so sweet and sincere in his movies, but in real life he seems a tad full of himself. In all honesty, it saddens me. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wish he was like the characters he plays. That’s actors for you, I guess.

"Beastly" is utterly beautiful. In the beginning, Kyle is a shallow, egotistical jerk. But when he’s served a piping hot slice of humble pie, compliments of Kendra, he becomes Hunter, the guy he he should have been all along. Perhaps one of the best parts of the movie was watching him try to woo Lindy. When his attempts to buy Lindy’s love fail, Hunter stomps his feet and whines like a child. It’s so adorable that you can’t help but smile.

With that said, there ARE some predicaments from which "Beastly" suffers. If you liked the book, you’ll probably be disappointed to know that the library was ultimately traded in for the greenhouse. My heart nearly broke in half at this realization. However, I eventually got over that, as there is an even bigger problem: the ending. Simply put, the book’s ending is 10 million times better. The ending in the movie is not nearly as powerful, and, at the end of the day, lackluster.

Thor is obviously the latest film in the Marvel Film Universe, directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring fellow Aussie Christ Hemsworth as the Titular character. The plot kind of cuts to the spoilers early on so as a spoiler-free review I shouldn’t tell you the plot.

Though Kenneth Branagh is a really weird choice to direct this he does make this (I am happy) to say Marvel’s best work yet. He mixes a fan boy’s wet dream and mixes it with suitable humor, dazzling FX and (probably the best part of the movie) the family’s relationship to make this appeal to everybody.

The acting is also good, Chris Hemsworth was probably the perfect choice for Thor, Anthony Hopkins played Odin good (as he could do in his sleep), Natalie Portman played Jane good, though the character doesn’t have that much interesting, she does what she has too do, Kat Dennings was actually really good as Jane’s annoying friend who freshens up the humor throughout the movie, Stellan Skarsgård is good, the supporting cast was generally good but Tom Hiddleston steals the show, as the envious of Thor and mischievous villain Loki.

Kenneth Branagh did a really good job at this movie. Though it is at the start a bit hard to get into. But Thor is a great action film with strong acting, screenplay and direction. This is really the Superhero movie to beat this year.
